If you haven't read this book to your kids, may I suggest that you do. This thing is reaching 'Pat the Bunny' status (mmm... I can smell the flowers now) and who doesn't like a talking pigeon? Actually, come to think about it, I don't....you know, the whole 'flying rat' thing, but this one has a certain je ne sais quoi and you have got to give him some credit for being just so darned persistent. ReplyDeleteBut the following two just felt derivative and formulaic. Although I have to admit, there is a soft spot in my heart for the little duck who wants the pigeon's hot dog.
